The North Carolina Tar Heels will learn their fate for four-star wide receiver Alex Taylor next week. The Greensboro, North Carolina native is set to make his decision on Saturday, July 29th picking between UNC, Penn State, Virginia Tech, Clemson, and NC State.
After receiving 19 offers, Taylor is down to just those five programs and is now ready to make his decision following visits. And there might be some great news for the Tar Heels.
Ahead of next week’s decision, the Tar Heels picked up a crystal ball prediction on 247Sports for Taylor. The prediction comes from NC State reporter Michael Clark who logged his prediction on Saturday.
It’s the lone prediction for Taylor right now and while it’s not a guarantee he will pick UNC, it’s interesting to see the insight from other reporters.
If UNC were to add Taylor to the 2024 recruiting class, it would be another big in-state commitment for Mack Brown and the UNC staff.
Taylor is ranked No. 154 nationally, No. 26 wide receiver and the No. 3 player in the state of North Carolina per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.
