UNC football lands another four-star recruit in 2024 class

The UNC football program has landed a four-star wide receiver in the 2024 class on Saturday.

Mack Brown and the North Carolina Tar Heels have landed another commitment in the 2024 recruiting class.

On Saturday, four-star wide receiver Alex Taylor officially pledged his verbal commitment to the Tar Heels. Taylor made the decision with a ceremony at his high school as the in-state prospect revealed he was heading to North Carolina on Saturday afternoon.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound wide receiver out of Greensboro, North Carolina picked UNC over four other finalists: Penn State, NC State, Virginia Tech and Clemson. He did have a total of 19 offers and took some visits in the process before finally deciding on UNC.

Taylor is ranked No. 154 overall, No. 26 wide receiver and the No. 3 player in the state of North Carolina per the 247Sports recruiting rankings.

With the addition of Taylor, UNC now has a total of 25 commitments in the 2024 class. That class is now ranked No. 23 overall per the 247Sports rankings.
