The North Carolina Tar Heels have identified multiple recruiting targets in the transfer portal, and we still have a few weeks of activity left in this portal window.
UNC has already landed one commitment, but it has a need for help on the wing, an area that hurt it last season. One target is former Towson standout Nick Timberlake.
The wing has already met at home with Hubert Davis and has taken a visit to UNC. He’s scheduled to visit Kansas this week, and another visit is now on his calendar.

Timberlake picked up an early crystal ball prediction to UNC, but it was by a Maryland insider. It may have been a bit premature, but the Tar Heels felt good about their chances when they got him on campus recently.
However, it appears Timberlake will take his time with his recruitment and is exploring all options.
