The North Carolina Tar Heels are on a roll as the month of January wraps up.
Going into Saturday’s game at Florida State, the Tar Heels are 16-3 overall and 8-0 in Atlantic Coast Conference play. They have a two-game lead and are looking like not only legit contenders to win the ACC but the national title too.
There’s a lot of basketball to be played but you can’t be mad at what you’ve seen from this team so far especially after this team missed the NCAA Tournament a year ago. But what do the experts think of the Tar Heels so far?

UNC extended its winning streak to eight this week with a thumping of lowly Louisville and an impressive 10-point road win over Boston College in a spot that could have been tricky. Tar Heels have things rolling with RJ Davis in his zone.
UNC is already 1-0 this week with a big win over Wake Forest at home, and going on the road and beating Florida State should give them another A for next week. But UNC just needs to take it one game at a time and continue to put themselves in the best position for a deep run in March.
