The North Carolina Tar Heels’ baseball program is hitting a slump.
They have lost back-to-back Atlantic Coast Conference series, dropping two of three to Miami and then were swept at home against Boston College this past weekend. The two series losses have dropped the Tar Heels to 9-10 in ACC play and with under a month left, they are going to need to turn it around.
With the 1-3 week, the Tar Heels saw their ranking in the USA TODAY Sports coaches poll drop. UNC went from being ranked to out of the poll this week. This is the first time UNC is out of the polls this season.
