Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s college football odds around the UL Monroe vs. Texas odds, and make our expert college football picks and predictions.

Texas is No. 2 in the US LBM Coaches Poll. It has been among the most impressive teams so far this season. UL Monroe at Texas picks and predictions

Prediction

Texas 45, UL Monroe 10

Moneyline

PASS.

Even if you find odds, avoid them.

Against the spread

BET UL MONROE +44.5 (-110).

The Longhorns are starting QB Arch Manning. The high-profile former 5-star talent should be able to put it on UL Monroe early and get himself off the field. This will be his first career start.

When Manning’s backup comes in, there won’t be the same dynamic nature as there is when Manning takes the field for Ewers. Once they get up multiple scores, that same skill level won’t be on the field.

Also, UL Monroe has covered in both games and won as a double-digit underdog. It certainly won’t win here, but it could put up a fight. Take UL MONROE +44.5 (-110).

Over/Under

BET OVER 52.5 (-110).

The Warhawks are 0-2 O/U but have scored at least 30 points in both games. They have allowed just 10 points per game but haven’t played an offense even close to the caliber of Texas.

The Longhorns are 2-1 O/U and have scored 50 or more points against both its non-Power 4 opponents. Expect Manning and his offense to continue to dominate weaker defenses.

Back OVER 52.5 (-110).
