UGA QB commit Gunner Stockton breaks Trevor Lawrence’s Georgia record

Gunner is on a tear

5-star UGA quarterback commit Gunner Stockton already broke Deshaun Watson’s Georgia high school record for most career touchdowns (combined rushing and passing) when he scored touchdown No. 219 earlier in October.

On Friday night, Stockton broke another record held by a college football legend. The Rabun County dual-threat quarterback broke Trevor Lawrence’s state record for most career passing touchdowns when he threw for his 162nd touchdown on in the first half on Friday night. Rabun County went on to beat Union County 56-14.

Stockton has been committed to Georgia since January. Rivals has Stockton as a five-star prospect and ranks him as the No. 1 ranked dual-threat quarterback and No. 28 overall player.
