The Georgia Bulldogs have been hot on the recruiting trail recently. One of Georgia’s latest class of 2023 scholarship offers is defensive back recruit Rickey Gibson.
The Bulldogs extended an offer to Gibson on June 21. Gibson is ranked as a three-star defensive back and the No. 629 recruit in the rising senior class.
Rickey Gibson plays high school football for Hewitt-Trussville High School in Trussville, Alabama. Gibson is the No. 29 prospect in Alabama and is rated as the No. 60 cornerback in the class of 2023.
The 6-foot, 170-pound cornerback is an excellent athlete. Gibson put on a show during a workout at the University of Georgia. This impressive performance is part of the reason why the Bulldogs offered the rising Hewitt-Trussville senior a scholarship.
Had a great day at Georgia!

The speedy cornerback has taken recent visits to Auburn, Arkansas (official visit), and Tennessee (official visit). Mississippi State, Florida State, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee, and more have offered scholarships to Gibson.
Georgia football is a little late to the race for Gibson, but the Bulldogs and Kirby Smart have a lot of great selling points to recruits.
