UFC on ESPN 51 video: Terrance McKinney throttles Mike Breeden in 85 seconds

Terrance McKinney snapped a recent rough streak with a near-flawless first-round finish of Mike Breeden at UFC on ESPN 51.

[autotag]Terrance McKinney[/autotag] returned to form in less than two minutes at UFC on ESPN 51.

Filling in for the injured Lando Vanatta on short notice to take on [autotag]Mike Breeden[/autotag] (10-6 MMA, 0-3 UFC), McKinney (14-6 MMA, 4-3 UFC) stepped into the octagon at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas looking to right a few recent wrongs. He would only need 85 seconds to record a TKO stoppage in the lightweight prelim contest.

From the moment the fight began, McKinney poured on the pressure. Breeden could never get anything going, and McKinney didn’t give him any room to find offense. Punch after punch found its mark, including beautiful knees in the Thai clinch that led to the finish. Breeden was hurt and could only cover up against the fence before the referee stepped in to stop the onslaught from McKinney.

Entering on a two-fight skid, McKinney bounced back in quick fashion. The UFC lightweight is known for getting the job done quickly. In fact, his last 10 wins have all come in the first round.
