The UFC lightweight ran through his opponent Mike Breeden to open up the UFC Fight Night 193 main card on Saturday night in Las Vegas. Hernandez (13-4 MMA, 5-3 UFC) knocked out Breeden in less than two minutes into the first round of their contest at the UFC Apex.

Hernandez connected and wobbled Breeden early and followed up with a flurry of punches ending with a hard right hand that sent Breeden down to the canvas.

With this result, the 29-year-old is back on the winning tracks after having lost to Thiago Moises in his previous bout back in February. Hernandez has been alternating wins and losses since 2019. He’s 3-3 in his past six trips to the octagon.
