UFC Fight Night 190: Ciryl Gane vs. Alexander Volkov odds, picks and prediction

Previewing Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 190 fight between Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov, with MMA odds, picks, tips and predictions.

In a heavyweight bout in Saturday’s main event, Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov meet at UFC Fight Night 190 at the UFC’s APEX Facility. Below, we analyze the UFC Fight Night 190 Gane vs. Volkov odds and lines, with picks and predictions.

The prelims kick off on ESPN+ at 1 p.m. ET, with the main card starting at 4 p.m. ET.

Gane won a very uneventful main event fight against Jairzinho Rozenstruik last time out Feb. 27, 2021. While Gane didn’t necessarily do anything to wow in that fight, he also didn’t do anything to hurt his chances against a tough opponent. He also has wins against Junior Dos Santos and Tanner Boser in his previous three outings.

The last two wins for Volkov have been second-round KO/TKOs against Alistair Overeem and Walt Harris. Five of his past seven bouts have also come via stoppage, with four wins and a loss via knockout.

UFC Fight Night 190 Ciryl Gane vs. Alexander Volkov: Odds, lines, predictions and picks

Records: Gane 8-0-0 | Volkov 33-8-0

Fight result (2-way line or money line)

In the main event, GANE (-155) looks to stay unbeaten against Volkov (+130), another tough opponent in a long line of tough opponents for the French fighter. He has proven to be the more well-rounded fighter as he can win it in a toe-to-toe battle or going down to the mat.

Gane has a 1.13-to-0.66 takedown average advantage and a 0.45-to-0.19 submission average advantage.

GANE BY KO/TKO, DQ OR SUBMISSION (+225) on the 5-way line for method of victory is worth a roll of the dice.

Over/Under (O/U)

Take NO (-115): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE? for the win as I like Gane to end this one before the judges get involved.

In the main event, I like a three-round block for round betting. Take GANE IN ROUND 3 (+1100), GANE IN ROUND 4 (+1500) and GANE IN ROUND 5 (+2000). If he is able to grab the finish between Rounds 3 through 5, you will lose two of the ends, but you’ll still be in the black by quite a bit.
