The UFC is back with its final pay-per-view of the year, which means the popular “Embedded” fight-week video series is here to document what’s happening behind the scenes.
UFC 282 takes place Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPN2 and early prelims on ESPN+.
The main event is a vacant light heavyweight title fight between former champion [autotag]Jan Blachowicz[/autotag] (29-9 MMA, 12-6 UFC) and [autotag]Magomed Ankalaev[/autotag] (18-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC). They’ll fight for the belt vacated by Jiri Prochazka, who bowed out of a rematch with Glover Teixeira with a severe shoulder injury.
The co-main event is a lightweight fight between rising star [autotag]Paddy Pimblett[/autotag] (19-3 MMA, 3-0 UFC) and [autotag]Jared Gordon[/autotag] (19-5 MMA, 7-4 UFC). In addition, former welterweight champ [autotag]Robbie Lawler[/autotag] (29-16 MMA, 14-10 UFC) takes on [autotag]Santiago Ponzinibbio[/autotag] (28-6 MMA, 10-5 UFC) and [autotag]Dricus Du Plessis[/autotag] (17-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC) meets [autotag]Darren Till[/autotag] (18-4 MMA, 6-4-1 UFC) at middleweight.
