UConn senior Tyrese Martin on Wednesday told Shreyas Laddha of the Hartford Courant that he has received an invitation to compete in the NBA G League Elite Camp.
Martin, a 6-foot-6 guard, averaged 13.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 29 games with the Huskies. He was named to the Big East Championship All-Tournament team after posting 18 points, 7.5 rebounds, two assists and two steals in two games.
He finished eighth in the Big East in rebounding.
The elite camp gives prospects the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of NBA and G League scouts, coaches and front-office executives from May 16-17 in Chicago. The top performers will be invited to perform in the draft combine.
