UCLA forward Cody Riley announced his intentions to declare for the NBA draft while maintaining his collegiate eligibility, head coach Mick Cronin said on Friday.
Riley averaged a career-high 10 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 31 games last season to help the Bruins to the Final Four. He converted on 53.8% on his shot attempts from the field, which ranked 13th among all players in the Pac-12.
He averaged nine points and six rebounds during the NCAA Tournament.
By not hiring an agent, Riley has left open the possibility of returning to UCLA next season. Underclassmen had until Sunday to declare for the NBA draft.

Riley previously declared for the draft following the 2018-19 season but ultimately returned to school. He will once again have the opportunity to gain feedback from teams during the pre-draft process and use that information to make a decision on his future.
Prospects who wish to return to college next season have until July 7 to withdraw from the NBA draft and maintain their eligibility.
