It was announced this week that UCLA star forward Zania Socka-Nguemen was invited to participate in the 2024 Women’s Basketball US Team trials. The trials will be held in Colorado Springs coming up on May 15th. She is one of 26 women’s basketball players to be invited. The event is held in Bucaramanga Columbia in the middle of June.

The 6’3, future UCLA star from Washington D.C. was a member of the East team in the McDonald’s All-American game. Her team won the game 98-74 back on April 2nd in Houston.
She comes to UCLA as a five star recruit out of the Sidwell Friends school. The 6’3 forward scored 12.4 points per game and ripped down more than 8 rebounds per game in her senior season.
