UCLA offers four-star offensive tackle Lamont Rogers

Another offer from the UCLA football program.

The UCLA Bruins continued their search for their future roster on Wednesday, extending an offer to a four-star offensive tackle.

Standing at 6′ 7″ and 300 lb, Lamont Rogers is a massive offensive line prospect. Already playing at the prototypical college size, the offensive tackle Rogers is drawing attention from schools all over the country.

With offers from Alabama, Texas A&M, Auburn, and rival USC, Rogers’ size and ability make him a turnkey player to compete at the NCAA level.

A two-sport athlete, playing both football and basketball, Rogers blends brute strength and athleticism for the Horn High School in Mesquite, Texas. That athleticism allows Rogers to get to the second level, take on linebackers, and pave the way for his tailback in the running game.

With the running game being the centerpiece for the Bruins offense in 2023 and having two former running backs in coaches, DeShaun Foster and Eric Bieniemy, continuing to pound the rock is likely here to stay for the Bruins.

Adding a tough, block-finishing tackle like Rogers to the roster could be the perfect addition for the Bruins in the future.
