UCLA hires Washington State director of recruiting

The changes keep on coming for UCLA.

DeShaun Foster and the UCLA Bruins football program continue to make changes all around.

At the beginning of March, UCLA hired Washington State’s Director of Recruiting Stacey Ford, per Matt Zenitz of 247Sports.

UCLA is expected to hire Washington State director of recruiting Stacey Ford, sources tell @247sports. Set to be a return home for Ford, a Los Angeles native who worked at Washington State the last two years, which came after a run as a high school coach in LA.

Ford’s official title is the director of player personnel, and he has a lot of experience. He was an assistant at Downey Warren in California, which is the current home for talented 2025 QB Madden Iamaleava, who has UCLA as one of his finalists.

UCLA also hired Butler Benton and Chris Carter in other roles, and Foster gave a statement on those hires (h/t Tracy McDannald):

“Butler, Chris and Stacey bring years of experience from around the country that will help us build and enhance relationships while staying a step ahead of that next change (in recruiting).”
