UCLA Bruins offer 3-star tight end Dylan Sims

Bruins offer a 3-star tight end.

Recruiting continues for the Bruins during the off-season. With the team hard at work installing the offense under Eric Bieniemy as spring practice continues, UCLA offered a future skill position player this weekend.

Dylan Sims, a 6′ 6″ tight end from Queen Creek High School in Queen Creek, Arizona, received an offer from DeShaun Foster after meeting with him.

Sims, whose size already puts him in a good position to play at the next level, is a three-star recruit for the class of 2025. With his senior year still to play, the Bruins extended him an offer early.

With the Bruins offering several opportunities to tight ends both in high school and the transfer portal, it is clear that UCLA is looking to add to the position.

With the Kansas City Chiefs, where Bieniemy was an offensive coordinator, he utilized tight ends heavily in the passing game. If that trend continues and Bieniemy wants to incorporate tight ends into the Bruins offense, having several offers for tight ends on the table bodes well for their scheme in the future.
