The Philadelphia 76ers already knew they would be short-handed when they visited the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday, but they have lost another key piece ahead of the matchup at the Barclays Center.
Tyrese Maxey was sent home to Philadelphia and will miss the matchup with the Nets due to concussion-like symptoms. He suffered a head injury in the third quarter of Sunday’s road win over the Dallas Mavericks. He left that game briefly, but ended up returning to finish the win.

With Maxey out, more pressure shifts to Tobias Harris to lead. He’s had two strong games and will need a third for Philadelphia to get the job done.
Tip off from the Barclays Center is set for 7:30 p.m. EST.
