CAMDEN, N.J. — The Philadelphia 76ers are a team that relies on pace to succeed on the offensive end of the floor. Not like the seven seconds or less Phoenix Suns in the early 2000s, who played at a breakneck speed, but Philadelphia has to push the ball to be efficient.
It is a bit easier to do so with James Harden in the lineup, but with The Beard sidelined with a right foot tendon strain, it has been tough to do. The offense has been a bit up and down throughout the beginning of the season, but ever since Harden went down, the offense outside of Joel Embiid has been unreliable.

Embiid scored 59 of Philadelphia’s 105 points in the win over the Utah Jazz on Sunday and the only other double-digit scorer was Tyrese Maxey with 18.
