Tyrese Maxey, Sixers celebrate Isaiah Joe’s big game for Thunder

Tyrese Maxey and the Philadelphia 76ers celebrate former teammate Isaiah Joe’s big game for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Philadelphia 76ers made a tough decision after the preseason when they released young Isaiah Joe after just two seasons with the team. The Sixers had added players at his position and the young man had to be let go.

Now, Joe is with the Oklahoma City Thunder, and he had a big night on Saturday in their 117-111 overtime win over the Dallas Mavericks. The young man hopped off the bench and poured in 15 points on 4-for-4 shooting. He made all three of his 3s in nine minutes in the fourth-quarter and the extra session.

Joe received some love and support from his former Sixers teammates, Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris, on Twitter. Maxey was, obviously, in the same draft class as Joe so he wanted to give him some love and support. Harris was always the big brother on the team for the youngsters.
