Tennessee’s 2023 season under sixth-year head coach Tony Vitello is underway.
Ahead of the Vols’ second weekend series of the 2023 campaign, Tennessee received a commitment on the recruiting trail.
2025 right-handed pitcher and outfield prospect Tyler Wood announced his commitment to Tennessee on Friday.
“I’m blessed to announce my commitment to the University of Tennessee,” Wood announced. “I’d like to thank my parents for the endless amount of support and for always believing in me. As well as my all of my coaches and teammates who have helped me along this journey!”
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Wood is from Lee’s Summit West High School in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
