Tyler Herro clapped back at Landry Shamet: ‘You can’t guard me!’

Herro tallied 19 points in his fourth start of the season but it was his play against Landry Shamet had everyone talking.

Tyler Herro has never been one to be low on self-confidence.

The Miami Heat rookie displayed that swagger once again on Friday night as his team hosted Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers. Herro earned his fourth start of the season and recorded 19 points and four rebounds in the 122-117 loss.

Herro shot 8-of-19 from the field as he scored 14 of his 19 points in the first half, including eight in the first quarter. Herro was often defended by Clippers guard Landry Shamet with the rookie getting the better of him on several occasions, like this sequence in the second quarter.
