Texas could add a massive addition to its 2024 recruiting class soon.
Five-star cornerback Kobe Black is currently on an official visit to Texas. In the days leading up to the visit, several recruiting experts felt Steve Sarkisian’s staff could seal the deal sooner rather than later.
On Friday, two more On3 predictions were entered for Black in favor of Texas. Inside Texas’ Justin Wells and Eric Nahlin each entered a prediction with a fairly confident 75% chance of Texas landing a commitment from Black.
Black is rated the No. 2 cornerback in the country and the No. 6 overall prospect in Texas, according to On3’s industry ranking. He would become the first five-star in Texas’ 2024 class and provide much needed momentum on the recruiting trail.
