Michigan State Basketball is heavily targeting both 4-star Forward Jeremy Sochan and 4-star PG Jaden Aikens from the 2021 recruiting class. Well, both players have surged upwards in the most recent Rivals150 rankings.

Here are the previous rankings compared to the new rankings for both 2021 targets:

Jaden Akins

  • Previous Ranking: No. 105
  • New Ranking: No. 66

Michigan State Basketball met with Akins right after the commitment of 4-star 2021 Guard Pierre Brooks. The Spartans are now locked in on Akins as a target. The potential backcourt of both Akins & Brooks is certainly tantalizing.

Jeremy Sochan

  • Previous Ranking: Unranked
  • New Ranking: No. 40

Michigan State just recently offered Sochan on May 29. His ascension in the Rivals150 rankings is overwhelmingly impressive but makes sense. After all, he is the No. 3 ranked prospect in all of Indiana according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
