On Tuesday, the Big Ten announced the conference All-Big Ten teams on defense and special teams, with the offense being revealed on Wednesday.

Though there was only one first-teamer of the group in cornerback Lavert Hill — selected by both the coaches and the media — there were several others that made the second and third teams.

Additionally, punter Will Hart was named to the second-team (media) and third-team (coaches), while punt returner Donovan Peoples-Jones made the third-team via the media.

With the announcement of the offensive players, there similarly weren’t a lot of names that made first-team status. Both players named to the first-team were consensus picks by both the media and coaches, and both played on the left side of the offensive line, with both LT Jon Runyan Jr. getting the nod (for his second-straight year) as well as LG Ben Bredeson also making the first team.

Here are the rest of the selections in the Wolverines contingent:

  • C Cesar Ruiz – second-team (coaches), third-team (media)
  • QB Shea Patterson – third-team (coaches and media)
  • RG Michael Onwenu – third-team (coaches)
  • RB Zach Charbonnet – third-team (media)

The following got honorable mentions:

  • WR Ronnie Bell (media)
  • RB Zach Charbonnet (coaches)
  • WR Nico Collins (coaches and media)
  • TE Nick Eubanks (coaches and media)
  • RB Hassan Haskins (coaches and media)
  • RT Jalen Mayfield (coaches)
  • TE Sean McKeon (coaches and media)
  • RG Michael Onwenu (media)
  • WR Donovan Peoples-Jones (media)

Also, Michigan QB Shea Patterson was honored as the team’s recipient of the league sportsmanship award.
