Twitter reacts to Titans selecting Treylon Burks with 18th overall pick

What Twitter had to say about the Titans drafting Arkansas WR Treylon Burks.

The Tennessee Titans traded into the No. 18 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft on Thursday night and selected Arkansas wide receiver Treylon Burks.

The only problem was in order to move up to that spot they had to send wide receiver A.J. Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles, a deal that also landed Tennessee Philly’s No. 101 overall pick.

While Burks was someone many Titans fans wanted all along, his selection is bittersweet to say the least with Brown now gone. Tennessee will now need Burks to step in and make a big impact immediately.

The good news is Burks is very similar to Brown with his physical style of play, but the scary part is we don’t exactly know if he’ll even come close to panning out as well as Brown did.

With Burks in and Brown out, the Titans’ top three receivers are a rookie (Burks), a veteran coming off a torn ACL (Robert Woods) and a former undrafted free agent (Nick Westbrook-Ikhine).

Not exactly ideal for a Titans team that needed a lot of help at wide receiver going into the offseason. Nevertheless, here’s a look at how Twitter reacted to Tennessee drafting Burks with the No. 18 overall pick.
