Twitter reacts to Titans’ dominant Week 7 win over Chiefs

Twitter was rightly gushing over the Titans after their dominant win over the Chiefs.

The Tennessee Titans proved they are real contenders in Week 7 after notching an impressive 27-3 win over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

The Titans’ offense dominated in the first half, staking Tennessee to a 27-0 lead. While the unit didn’t score a single point in the second half, the performance over the first two quarters was more than enough.

That’s because the defense really came to play. Tennessee’s unit had Patrick Mahomes under pressure all game long, leading to four sacks and several errant throws.

The secondary was just as good, especially when you consider what it was up against. The Titans held the Chiefs to just three points and under 350 yards of total offense, and Kansas City was 0-for-3 in the red zone.

Adding to all that, Tennessee forced three turnovers, with one interception and a pair of fumble recoveries, and Mahomes and the Chiefs had less than 400 yards of total offense, with the star quarterback throwing for just 205.

Following the game, Twitter couldn’t help but gush over the Titans’ dominant showing over the Chiefs that puts them squarely in the conversation as the best team in the AFC, and one of the best in the NFL overall.
