The Houston Texans shocked the NFL with a 41-29 win over the Los Angeles Chargers Sunday afternoon.
Rookie quarterback Davis Mills looked like a veteran once more as he completed 21-of-27 for 254 yards and two touchdowns. Mills only took one sack and posted a 130.6. The third-round pick from Stanford was an efficient distributor of the football as he threw to eight different receivers.
Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert went 27-of-35 for 336 yards, a touchdown, two interceptions, and a pick-six. It wasn’t quite the performance one would expect from Herbert going against a COVID-depleted Texans defense.
