Texas A&M football recruiting has reached the stage of en fuego, as the program has landed four 2024 prospects since last Thursday, with the most recent coming in the form of four-star offensive tackle and Beaumont, Texas native Weston Davis.
According to On3, Davis is currently positioned as the 23rd-ranked player, 3rd-ranked offensive tackle, and 5th-ranked player in Texas, Davis’ athleticism and massive frame, combined with his elite footwork, are some of the many reasons why this may be Texas A&M’s biggest coup in the 2024 cycle.
Beating out the LSU Tigers, who many thought held a clear advantage over any final contender leading up to his announcement, Texas A&M and Head Coach Jimbo Fisher aren’t slowing down anytime soon, already taking a massive leap in the team recruiting rankings for 247Sports (24th) and On3 (14th), several high priority 2024 prospects including three-star Edge Gabriel Reliford, four-star wide receiver Drelon Miller, and four-star wide receiver Jaylan Hornsby are set to commit later this week.
Due to Weston Davis’s extremely high ceiling, many Texas A&M players, recruits, and media members sounded off on Twitter in what will remain one of the biggest recruiting wins for the Aggies this cycle. Here are the best reactions on the night!
