Twitter reacts to Logan Diggs’ touchdown to begin second half

Nice job taking advantage of busted coverage.

The first quarter of the game between Notre Dame and North Carolina is looking more and more like a distant memory. That’s because it’s been almost all Irish ever since. If you don’t believe that, look no further than the first possession of the third quarter. [autotag]Drew Pyne[/autotag]’s play-action pass found a wide-open [autotag]Logan Diggs[/autotag] thanks to busted coverage, and Diggs calmly jogged into the end zone for a 29-yard touchdown:

We saw that on the first defensive play of the second half when [autotag]JD Bertrand[/autotag] forced a fumble from Drake Maye on a sack and [autotag]Justin Ademilola[/autotag] recovered it, setting the Irish up in excellent field position. That eventually led to [autotag]Audric Estime[/autotag]’s second touchdown of the game, albeit after a controversial pass interference call against the Tar Heels on fourth-and-goal.
