Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm sustained an ankle injury after a sack from Grant Delpit during the second quarter of Saturday’s SEC Championship.
He came back in and continued to play, but his first half was a forgettable one, missing open players on a number of plays.
After what looked like a nice drive late in the half, Fromm wound up throwing a pick and closed out the half with 117 yards, a pick and no touchdowns on 10/20 passing.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to Fromm’s frustrating first half and his ankle injury.
Let me say this: No matter the outcome of the game, if you’re praising the fact that Fromm (or anyone for that matter) got injured, you’re going to catch these hands

And now Fromm is down. What else could go wrong for @GeorgiaFootball in this game?

Gary Danielson is the worst commentator ever. He just blamed Jake Fromm for not giving Georgia’s backup QB enough time to get warmup throws in. He just said From has to give his backup QB a heads up. You are garbage Danielson.

I like Jake Fromm but that is the difference between him and Joe Borrow. Joe would have ran it there.

Anyone watching the SEC Championship, has to realize Jake Fromm is NOT ready for the NFL. He needs to return to UGA next year.
