The Washington Commanders defeated the Indianapolis Colts 17-16 on Sunday to improve to 4-4.
It was another wild game for the Commanders. After a promising touchdown drive in the second quarter, Washington’s offense went silent for the remainder of the first half and all of the third quarter.
When the Colts intercepted Washington quarterback Taylor Heinicke early in the fourth quarter, it felt like the Commanders’ winning streak would end at two games.
However, Heinicke and wide receiver Terry McLaurin brought Washington all the way back, scoring the game-winning touchdown with 22 seconds remaining in the game.
As always, Twitter was wild during and after Sunday’s Washington game. We’ve compiled some of the best reactions from Sunday’s win.
