The Chargers clawed their way back in after being down the whole game in the season opener against the Bengals.
Cincinnati was close to sealing the deal on the final drive, but after settling for a field goal to tie the game with seconds remaining, kicker Randy Bullock missed the kick.
Los Angeles pulled away with a victory by the score of 16-13.
Like they say, it wasn’t pretty but a win is a win.
Here’s a glimpse at how social media reacted to the Bolts’ Week 1 win:

With all the negativity going on you’d think the Bengals blew the Chargers out today. It’s game 1, with a new QB, new system and no offseason. The Chargers won today. RELAX y’all pic.twitter.com/3EEubPz10y

After so many heartbreaking incredibly awful ways to lose over the years, Chargers finally on the other side of it as Bengals miss a chip shot FG to tie it up with a few second left.

A win but an ugly one at that. I pray that The Chargers can clean it up that offense because next week is the Chiefs 😳 pic.twitter.com/LCMngjWLUm
