It’s safe to say that Cam Newton had a pretty good day in his debut appearance for the New England Patriots. The quarterback threw for 155 yards on 15-of-19 passing attempts and rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns as the Patriots beat the Miami Dolphins 21-11.
Twitter was abuzz about Newton’s performance.
Can Newton Patriots debut: 15-19 155 yards, 15 rushes for 75 yards and two touchdowns. Not bad for a mid-summer free agent on a bargain deal. pic.twitter.com/5l64ciUeYn
