Twitter reacts to Bo Nix yelling at Sean Payton on the sideline

Broncos rookie QB Bo Nix had a heated moment with coach Sean Payton on the sideline during Sunday’s game against the Raiders.

After failing to connect on a deep pass to rookie wide receiver Troy Frankin in the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix had a heated moment with coach Sean Payton on the sideline.

Here’s a sampling of how Twitter/X reacted to the sideline spat:

Nix threw a deep pass to the end zone that was dropped by Franklin. Nix and Payton then exchanged words on the sideline after the play.

Franklin and fellow receiver Courtland Sutton later joined in the conversation, but Fox cameras did not catch their exchange.

Broncos fans will recall Payton also having heated moments on the sideline with former Denver quarterback Russell Wilson last fall. Payton downplayed his outbursts against Wilson last season. We’ll see what the coach has to say about Nix’s heated moment after Sunday’s game.

The Broncos were beating the Raiders 20-10 during the exchange and Denver went on to secure a 34-18 win. Nix finished the day with two touchdown passes and another score on the ground.
