On Friday night, former Alabama defensive back Brandon Turnage announced that he’ll be transferring to Georgia.
This will provide much-needed help to a heavily depleted Georgia secondary as the Dawgs look to make another run at the SEC Championship Game and the College Football Playoff.
Turnage, a redshirt sophomore who entered the transfer portal on May 6, is a former 4-star recruit in the class of 2019 out of Oxford, Mississippi.
He played in three games for the Crimson Tide during the 2020 season.
Twitter reacted to the news of Georgia landing the defensive back from its rival, the Crimson Tide.
