Twitter reactions: Michigan football defeated Maryland

What a game!

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The No. 4 Michigan Wolverines had not been battle-tested in their first three games of the season.

But that changed when Maryland came to the Big House. The Wolverines ended up winning 34-27, but the Terps really came to play against the Wolverines.

The Wolverines recovered the opening kickoff after Maryland botched it and Michigan scored a touchdown the very next play. But the Terps went out to a 13-10 lead shortly after. Maryland controlled most of the first half until Blake Corum rushed for a 33-yard touchdown with 23 seconds left in the first half.

The final score will show that it was a one-possession game, but Michigan was up a couple scores most of the second half. The Terps scored a late touchdown in the fourth quarter to make it a seven-point game.

The hero of the game was Blake Corum. The junior had a career-day rushing the ball 30 times for 243 yards and two scores.

Here is what Twitter thought about the game.
