Well, it was a long way but the Baltimore Ravens answered one of their top offseason questions in the 2020 NFL Draft. Taking LSU linebacker Patrick Queen with the 28th pick in the first round, the Ravens filled a major need and made a lot of fans happy in the process.

But it was Queen’s new teammates that were first and loudest in congratulating him on joining the team.

Both quarterback Lamar Jackson and wide receiver Marquise Brown took to Instagram, getting pumped to see Baltimore select Queen. Both players geeked out watching his highlights.

Olympian swimmer and Baltimore native Michael Phelps welcomed Queen to the city and gave him some pretty sage advice.

Former New England Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi thinks Queen has “Ravens” all over him and fits the legacy of the franchise, which is high praise.

One fan is adding the Ravens taking Queen in the first round to a list of items that might mean 2020 is done sucking as hard.

As always, the ‘Game of Thrones’ memes were quick to make an appearance, though this one is pretty fitting.

This fan might be a future teller, calling Queen out a week before the draft ever started.

While others are predicting some lofty goals for Queen.

Ravens fans and players seem to be all too happy to have Queen on the team and it shows on social media.
