Twitter and the National Basketball Association huddled up on several projects for NBA All-Star Weekend Feb. 18 through 20. The social network said #NBATwitter conversation has been on the upswing this season, pointing to a 33% increase in NBA-related tweets on Christmas day, when five marquee matchups were nationally televised. Morgan State University and Howard University will face off in the NBA HBCU Classic Saturday (Feb. 19) at Wolstein Center in Cleveland, and the social network and the league are teaming up to enable players from both squads to tweet questions to NBA All-Stars, who will respond with videos on Twitter.
