[autotag]Nate Oats[/autotag] and the Alabama men’s basketball team dropped just their second game of the season on Saturday at the hands of No. 15 Gonzaga 100-90.
Scoring was obviously not an issue for the Crimson Tide offense but turnovers once again plagued Alabama.
Despite freshman sensation Brandon Miller dropping an astounding 36 points, Alabama’s 21 turnovers ended up being the difference in the contest.
Alabama’s second-leading scorer Mark Sears also had an off day from the field shooting just 1 of 8 and finishing with five points, around 10 less than his season average.
Gonzaga senior forward Drew Timme was dominant in the paint dropping 29 points and hauling in 10 rebounds.
The Crimson Tide move to 9-2 on the season and will wrap up the non-conference slate next Tuesday when they play host to Jackson State.
