According to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor designer Justin Perez, the development team at Respawn Entertainment knew they were cooking up something special with Turgle.
“All of us on the dev team were pretty sure Turgle was going to be the breakout star of [Star Wars Jedi: Survivor], and the main takeaway from today is that we were absolutely correct,” Perez said on Twitter. “Our internal slack channel dedicated to pictures from photo mode is filled with Turgle glamour shots.”
