Tuesday Night Football: Why Washington and Eagles, Seahawks and Rams are playing on a special night in Week 15

Why there’s another night of NFL action this week.

If you’re here, you’re probably wondering: Why is it that we’re getting not one, but TWO special Tuesday night NFL games — one between NFC East rivals the Washington Football Team and the Philadelphia Eagles, and the other is an NFC West battle between the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams?

The answer is fairly straightforward: Both Washington and the Rams had a significant amount of players on its reserve/COVID-19 list, and so the NFL moved these two games from Sunday to Tuesday.

So both those games will be played at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday night. That happened last year as well!

There you have it. Enjoy a bonus night of football.
