On Sunday, a day after enduring a season ending injury, Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was greeted by familiar faces in his hospital room in Birmingham, Alabama.

Many of this current teammates showed up to visit him and encourage Tagovailoa, as he heads to Houston for hip surgery. It not only encouraged Tagovailoa, it also encouraged his teammates who came to see him, who saw their QB1 in sweet spirits, and a smile on his face.

Tagovailoa, who is from Hawaii, captioned his instagram posts with:

Ohana means FAMILY, and FAMILY means no one gets left behind…

This sentiment from his teammates proves that it’s more than a game. It’s a brotherhood. It’s a group of guys who come from different backgrounds, but when you have a common goal and dream, become a family. And family means no one gets left behind.
