Arkansas wide receiver [autotag]Treylon Burks[/autotag] is receiving tons of attention ahead of the NFL Draft set to take place at the end of April.
According to Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus, Burks has set up visits with multiple NFL teams including the Green Bay Packers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Tennessee Titans.
Burks has been linked to Green Bay recently. The Ringer’s latest mock draft that was released on March 22 says that Burks would be a good replacement for Davonte Adams, who was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders during the offseason.
Danny Kelly of The Ringer says that Burks could be Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ new go-to guy due to his athleticism, speed, and versatility.
Burks is an exciting playmaker with a rare combination of size, physicality, and speed. A former four-star prospect out of Warren, Arkansas, Burks reeled in 146 passes for 2,399 yards and 18 touchdowns in three years with the Razorbacks. He punctuated his college career with a 1,104-yard, 11-touchdown campaign in 2021, adding 112 yards and a score on the ground. Burks has extraordinary physical traits: In addition to his top-end breakaway speed, he wears size 5XL gloves, bench-presses 380 pounds, squats 500, and power-cleans 320, per Bruce Feldman’s annual Freaks List column.
While the “Burks to Green Bay” rumor has smoke, it is not as think as the rumors that Burks could be drafted by Philadelphia. There are multiple mock drafts that suggest that Burks will be taken by the Eagles at No. 15 overall, including the mock draft from USA Today’s Nate Davis.
Treylon Burks new home will be made official during the NFL Draft, which will take place April 28-30.
