The Arizona Cardinals missed tight end Trey McBride on Sunday, who missed the game recovering from a concussion he suffered in the fourth quarter of their game in Week 3 against the Detroit Lions.
He did not practice all last week.
Head coach gave a small update about McBride on Monday, saying that he is still in concussion protocol.
“I would say yes, but he did a good job last week,” he told reporters. “(He) wasn’t able to play and we thought that was kind of the smart thing to do, obviously with how the protocol works, but it’s just looking good.”
He was missed as Elijah Higgins, starting in his place, only caught two passes for 12 yards.
The Cardinals’ first practice of Week 5 is on Wednesday. We will see what his status is then and whether he practices at all, is limited or is a full go.
