Trevor Lawrence endorsement deal with Adidas becomes official

The presumptive first overall pick has added yet another big-time endorsement deal to his portfolio.

Any concerns that going to one of the NFL’s smaller-market franchises would limit Trevor Lawrence’s opportunities to secure lucrative endorsement deals have now been fully assuaged. After a busy week for the presumptive No. 1 overall pick in which he secured endorsements from Gatorade, the cryptocurrency app Blockfolio and Bose, his pending deal with Adidas has become official.

The former Clemson quarterback’s deal is a multi-year one, according to a press release from the sports apparel company. He joins other NFL quarterbacks who represent Adidas such as Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers and Dak Prescott.

“I’ve always been a fan of Adidas and I’m excited to join the team as I take the next step in my career,” Lawrence said in the release. “Adidas’ brand attitude of ‘Impossible Is Nothing’ is a message that really resonates with me both on and off the field. We are building for the future and I can’t wait to see what lies ahead with this partnership.”

When the Jaguars pick Lawrence on Thursday night, he will immediately become the biggest star the franchise has ever had. If his play on the field lives up to his hype as a prospect, you can expect to see more deals like this in the future.
