All eyes are on Trevor Lawrence ahead of the 2021 NFL Draft on Thursday, with the Clemson quarterback projected to go No. 1 to Jacksonville. With the sports world awaiting Lawrence’s arrival to the NFL, the quarterback had a bit of fun ahead of the draft, crashing ESPN’s live shot at his house for a hilarious cameo.
Marty Smith was at the helm of ESPN’s coverage of Lawrence, with cameras and crew inside the quarterback’s home ready for the big moment. During one of Smith’s live segments, Lawrence popped into the shot — looking sharp in a simple polo shirt — to say a quick hello to the ESPN journalist and to NFL fans around the world.

Smith recovered well from Lawrence’s impromptu visit — as a good journalist does — and snuck in a quick question to the presumed No. 1 overall pick in the hours leading up to the draft.
“I’m feeling great,” Lawrence said. “It’s good to be around family and friends.”
Life is likely going to get even better for Lawrence once his name is called on Thursday and his NFL career begins.
