Trevor Lawrence active vs. Titans, Andre Cisco out again

Trevor Lawrence is active against the Titans, but Andre Cisco is out again.

It was expected, but the Jacksonville Jaguars made it official an hour and a half before kickoff: Trevor Lawrence will play against the Tennessee Titans in Week 14.

Lawrence suffered a sprained toe last week in a 40-14 loss to the Detroit Lions. While the injury didn’t keep him out of action in the second half against the Lions, he was held out of practice Wednesday and Thursday. Lawrence was listed as questionable in the team’s final injury report, but there was optimism from both the quarterback and Jaguars coaches that he’d be ready to go Sunday.

The bad news for Jacksonville is that safety Andre Cisco is out of action for the second straight week:

Cisco was listed as questionable after he was limited in all three practices this week, but coaches sounded optimistic that the second-year safety would be back in action after missing Week 13.

For the Titans, there weren’t many surprises Sunday as the team already ruled out six players in their final injury report.

The notable omission from that list is Pro Bowl defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, who was listed as questionable, but is now slated to play against the Jaguars.
