At this point in draft season we have seen just about every possible top-10 prospect go to the Seahawks in a mock draft. Today we found a fresh name for that spot, courtesy of a new mock from Pro Football Focus.

PFF has Georgia’s stud pass rusher Travon Walker falling out of the top-five where he’s usually mocked and landing in Seattle at No. 9 overall.

“Travon Walker’s fall finally ends with the Seahawks. Walker’s athletic profile is absolute insane, testing in the 90th percentile in multiple categories. Walker, however, is a project.. . The Seahawks are the right fit for that process, especially since it looks like they’re in the rebuilding stage with no franchise QB. It will also allow the Seahawks to test what his optimal playing time is, since Walker had less than 400 pass-rushing snaps this past season for the Bulldogs.

Michigan’s Aidan Hutchinson and Oregon’s Kayvon Thibodeaux have been the consensus No. 1 and No. 2 edge defenders in this draft class for the last several months. Some analysts have Walker ranked No. 1, though. He certainly has the most interesting athletic profile.

Walker weighs in at 6-foot-5, 272 pounds and comes with 35.5″ arms and 10.75″ hands. At the Scouting Combine he posted an insane 35.5″ vertical jump and ran a 4.51 second 40-yard dash. He passed on the bench press but his power is readily apparent on tape.

Last season he totaled six sacks and 7.5 tackles for a loss as part of an absolutely loaded championship Bulldogs defense, which may produce several early-round picks.
